Earning a degree in Business Administration is a valuable achievement. However, there is a common misconception that this type of degree leads only to a career in accounting. While it is true that the course of study in Business Administration programs includes several types of accounting, there are many other fields and careers where such a degree is useful and relevant. While the same jobs may be open to graduates of other degree programs, often times a Business Administration degree is actively sought by employers.

Pursuing a Business Administration degree provides a strong generalized business education. Graduates possess the skills and knowledge to work in firms of virtually any size but may also be uniquely qualified to operate their own business.
